Employer Tax Guide Under the program, landowners in preservation areas may voluntarily sell development credits to builders in exchange for restricting their properties by deed against development.
Tax Services In return, developers use those credits to build at higher densities in designated growth zones such as Old York Village.
Services Tax Chesterfield and Lumberton are the only two municipalities in the state to have adopted the program.
